Harnessing the power of cutting-edge digital tools, the exhibition offers new ways of interpreting the ecosystems and organic processes all around us.
New Nature explores the biological systems through an immersive audio-visual experience, generative computer graphics, Unity based machine learning (AI), interaction and sound design.
Driven by your sensory movements, the multi-user artworks create real-time generative patterns, forming a virtual terrarium of insects, plants, creatures, landscapes, planets, and more, all in different shapes and sizes.
These ever-evolving worlds morph and melt over time, reacting to people throughout the space.
On the technical side, it's a juxtaposition of rigid technology - projections, interactive floors, screens and LED panels - with organic design, lifelike behavior and interaction through a designated iOS and Android mobile app augmented by depth sensing using Kinect and Leap Motion sensors.
